Taal town reigns as one of the two most culturally preserved sites of the Spanish colonial area of the Philippines where old houses line-up along the narrow streets of this former capital of Batangas province. It is famous for its hand embroideries, knives and sausages. Tagaytay is one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations because of its cool climate due to its high altitude. It provides a good view of Taal volcano.
