One of London’s most popular and famed festive attractions is the Winter Wonderland held every year in Hyde Park. What to Expect?

The Christmas Market

The Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is several attractions in one. The vast, picturesque Christmas market is perfect for a stroll to take in the Christmas atmosphere. Shop for trinkets and gifts including traditional wooden toys, jewellery, food gifts and more, being sure to stop every now and again for a fortifying glass of mulled wine or bag of roasted chestnuts. A new addition to the market area for this year is a Yuletide market, where you’ll find everything you need to celebrate Christmas, including some stunning decorations, gift wrap ideas and much more.

The Ice Rink

The Winter Wonderland ice rink is a magical sight to behold – strung with fairy lights and boasting a central Christmas tree. Offering the perfect opportunity to get your skates on for a whizz around in the open air, it makes for a romantic, exciting and fun winter activity.

The Fairground and Santa Land

You’ll find festive rides galore at Winter Wonderland, including gentle rides for little ones and nail-biting rides for thrill seekers. Those with very young children should head to Santa Land where they can enjoy gentle rides and meet the big man himself in his house!

The Observation Wheel

Enjoy amazing views of London on the Giant Observation Wheel. Soaring 60 metres into the winter sky, this wheel features enclosed pods for comfort and safety, and is a fantastic way to get an amazing birdseye view of the city.

Zippos Christmas Circus

Everyone loves a trip to the circus, and Zippos’ Christmas Circus has been sprinkled with festive magic. For those who want to enjoy a more thrilling spectacle, Zippos’ Cirque Berserk runs in the evenings with stunts and trickery to amaze.

The Magical Ice Kingdom

A new addition to the Winter Wonderland for 2012, the Magical Ice Kingdom, is a spectacular ice sculpture walk around attraction to delight and inspire.
